Organic Packaging

The objective of this project was to create a package design for a fictitious company called Natural Meats co. The goal was to show that their organic beef patties scream a more natural and healthier alternative for their target audience. I captured this by bringing attention to the beef patties displayed on a plate with plenty of lettuce and some tomatoes. To draw more attention to the patties, I enlarged them in Photoshop and I enhanced the colours to make the product appear more appetizing. To match with the orange seen in some of the tomatoes, I carried out the colour throughout the entire design. To keep it simple, I used a black background to make the green, orange, and white pop more in contrast. I wanted the wordmark to look clean and rounded to give that organic shape and feel to it. I also added green to “natural” to ensure the colour matches the symbolism of the word.
