Telus Financial Documents

This individual project (using fake information) is a one-page hypothetical investor fact sheet outlining information for Telus customers who invest with them. The required content was given to us as plain text and using their brand guide to dictate type and colours, I created hierarchy to allow readers to easily gaze through the content. I started by organizing the content on the page to determine where each block of text, images, and charts would fit and flow, and moved on to make size decisions.

The document was created in InDesign in both English and French which required the type to adhere to the conventions for each. It was challenging to set the type in French as it is not my first language and conventions are slightly different than in English. It took a lot of referencing class materials to set the French type, however through doing this, I became a lot more comfortable working in a foreign language.
