Happy Paws: Cuddle Buddy Cat Treats
Happy Paws is a family owned and run Canadian cat
treat company. They have a passion for developing
delicious treats that both taste good to your pet and
support your cats physical health.
I was hired to design packaging for a new line of
heart shaped cat treats that focus on the relationship
between the pet and their owner. This new line of cat
treats is called “Cuddle Buddy.” A signature visual of
a woman and her cuddle buddy cat was illustrated
for the product to help communicate the element of
desire. The loving embrace between the owner and
their pet helps remind the consumer of their beautiful
relationship with their cat.
I chose a friendly and playful looking typeface to
compliment the overall messaging. Beautiful pinks
and purples were used to help create a strong sense
of intimacy and connection. Hearts were echoed
throughout the design to further emphasize the love
and compassion that develops between a cat owner
and their cuddle buddy.
